Description
The old-fashioned flavor of Sassafras is a favorite in hard candies.
This flavor (similar to root beer) was very popular in teas, beverages, and candies in early American history.
These concentrated essential oils and flavours are 3-4 times stronger than typical alcohol-based extracts and work equally well for flavouring baked goods and icings as they do for candies. Performs exceptionally in high-heat applications such as candy making. Ideal for use in baking, frostings, fudge, candied popcorn, truffles, taffies and more.
1 dram = about 1 teaspoon (3.7ml)
Appropriate for use in chocolates and coatings (typical use is ¼ to ½ teaspoon per pound)
